You thought bad english was something unique to asian countries? Well think again, or simply head over to the Ritmonio website. You would think that a company that wants to capture a share of the global market would at least have a decent english translator doing their website translations, yet Ritmonio.it has such little engrish gems as “From 1947, year of foundation … has been going in for varied productions for diversified fields, … is born in 1998 from the wish to reinvest the gained experience … of technology in a new extent … result of a global course for searching clear objectives…”. I have to admit though, the broken english did add a tad bit of authenticity to the company’s website, think ordering a cappucino in a small Italian town to hear the waiter replying in perfect english, it just wouldn’t feel the same, now would it? While reading the text on their website was an amusing experience, their products give off an entirely different feel.
One of their product lines that quickly caught our eyes was DI.TA., a digital faucet line created with usability and water preservation in mind. Every faucet from this line has a touch sensitive panel for controling the water parameters and a LED dot indicator. They are intended to be combined with the Il Bianco Coniglio (white rabbit) water control/managment system, which we failed to get enough information about from the website. From the aesthetic viewpoint though, all the products in this line are flawless in our humble opinion, they are modern and simple yet they have an unique and powerfull feel to them. Take a look at some of the products and feel free to share your feelings and opinions using the comments form below the article!
