Axor Massaud faucet/mixer collection

Axor and french designer Jean-Marie Massaud bring us a touch of nature into the bathroom with the Axor Massaud collection. Resembling small waterfalls, these faucets produce a calming effect while the water runs gently and elegantly. There are a few options you can choose from - a floor-mounted shower/bath mixer, a tub-mounted bath mixer a number of beautiful washbasin and bidet mixers with the same waterfall effect. Along with mixers the Massaud collection has some interesting showers worth checking out although they are not nearly as beautiful as the mixer line. There is also a range of accessories you can choose from. Accesories include a toothbrush tumbler, soap dish, towel holder, toilet brush and roll holders, mirror, a hook to hang your bathrobe and they went as far as to design a vase made of crystal glass, candle stick and a cosmetic box in shape of a rock.

We probably do not need to tell you who Philippe Starck is, but if you do not know who he is read about him here. Instead, we will focus on the Axor Starck series of bathroom faucets that caught our eyes during our latest hunt for wow-worthy things.
The object of art is not to reproduce reality, but to create a reality of the same intensity.
- Alberto Giacometti
If what mr. Giacometti said is true then Philippe Starck certainly did an excellent job with this series of faucets and related products. Comparing the photographs that inspired the products and the products themselves, we couldnt decide what we liked more. Both the inspiration and the results are breathtaking.

Here are some of the products from the series, we hope you like them as much as we did.
